Elster is proud to host the 2011 conference at the “greenest” hotel in Florida. The Hyatt Regency is halfway between Naples and Fort Myers in southwest Florida. Situated among palm trees on the Gulf of Mexico, this hotel borders Estero Bay with its spectacular views and sunsets. Fort Myers International Airport (RSW) is 12 miles from the hotel. On the 15-minute ferry ride to the resort's Big Hickory Island Beach, watch for dolphins playing in the boat's wake. Child-friendly perks include a 140-foot-long slide and a climbing wall.

The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point has been a leader in environmental sustainability since its initial One Palm Certification in March 2004. The hotel made significant improvements to qualify itself as the first and only Three Palm Green Hotel in the state. In 2008, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection honored the hotel for achieving a Three Palm Certification status as a Florida Green Lodge, a state designation that recognizes hotels as being environmentally friendly.

  LP Transportation will provide airport shuttle service for conference attendees to and from Fort Myers Airport and the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort. Reservations are required in advance. You will be greeted in the baggage claim area by a representative holding an EnergyAxis Conference sign. Gratuities are at your discretion.
